Cataract - About

Cataract is an ocular affection defined by partial or total lens opacification. The lens is the biconvex convergent crystalline just behind the iris. The accommodation (or the focalisation capacity to focalize to near distance) needs the lens deformation by the ciliary muscle action. The cataract constitutes the very common cause of visual impairment.
